Founder of LNRA and creator of the first laboratory in Poland specializing in environmental DNA (eDNA) research. Graduate of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, PhD in biological sciences.
Since childhood, he has been fascinated by nature—its aesthetics, complexity, and mechanisms of functioning.
For almost 20 years, he has been conducting implementation work in the field of environmental protection, including preparation and realization of investments that may pose a threat to the environment, as well as development and implementation of nature protection plans and strategies. He specializes in the ecology of aquatic ecosystems and is actively involved in creating environmental protection systems, supporting and participating in scientific and social initiatives for nature conservation.
As part of his passion, he implements innovative solutions that help prevent the progressive loss of complexity in natural systems and the values they represent.

Head of the eDNA Laboratory, graduate of forensic biology and molecular diagnostics at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, PhD in biological sciences. She is a laboratory technician with a passion for exploring the world around us using molecular biology, with a particular emphasis on environmental DNA analysis. In her work, she focuses on the use of modern technologies that allow not only the study of biodiversity but also the monitoring and protection of ecosystems.
She specializes in sequencing methods such as NGS, nanopore sequencing, and real-time PCR, which enable the quick and effective detection of rare, endangered, or invasive species, constituting an important tool in environmental monitoring. Her experience also includes confocal microscopy, which she uses for precise visualization of larval stages of flies, a valuable asset in entomology.
She developed her skills during numerous internships in Poland and abroad, including at the Natural History Museum in London and in Copenhagen. For many years, her interests have also included forensic entomology.

Graduate of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in the field of environmental protection. A naturalist with 13 years of experience.
From an early age, he has been observing fauna and flora. It was then that his fascination and love for wildlife were born, which he transformed into his life’s passion. Currently, he specializes in vertebrate zoology and is especially fascinated by the winged part of this group of animals—avifauna and chiropterofauna. He is the initiator, originator, and coordinator of many active conservation activities for rare and endangered animal species. He derives particular satisfaction from their implementation and the monitoring of their effects. He is involved in the development and preparation of conservation plans, environmental monitoring and inventory work, as well as educational activities and campaigns. He has experience in the implementation and management of environmental projects funded from external sources. As a ringer, he cooperates with the Ornithological Station of the Museum and Institute of Zoology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdańsk.
He spends most of his time in the field, and involvement in environmental protection is his way of life.
